I'm Salamah Junaid — Dr. Sallie to the people who have known me long enough. A doctor by training, a writer by nature, and a Nigerian who believes that both medicine and words can change the world.

I started writing on TheXpositions in 2015, back when I was a medical student who had opinions about Abacha, entrepreneurship, and the general state of everything. I lent my voice to the internet and hoped it touched lives. A few of you told me it did. That meant the world.

I went quiet for a while. But here I am again — with a proper home this time, and more to say than ever. I write about medicine, life, the things that scare me, and the things that don't anymore.

I believe that sharing knowledge is a form of care, and that the world is made a little better every time someone is honest on the internet.
